Located just minutes from Seven Mile Beach, kayak tour begins with a safety briefing and orientation on paddling techniques.
Mangroves work to stabilize the beach and minimize erosion in storm conditions, but they also provide a safe habitat for juvenile fish, conch, non-stinging jellyfish and many other sea life. Experienced local guides outline the relationship between the delicate sea grass and the extensive mangrove population.
Kayak into the mangrove forest, once inside, you will see many different types of fish and birds, and you will even be given the chance to hold the Cassiopea jellyfish (they don’t sting).
The tour route goes all the way through the mangrove forest, meaning that you are in the centre of the mangroves.
