Every time you think about how nice it would be to go to Cayman in December there seems to be a weather system to wish you had tickets now. This big system crossing the US now reminds us of why we need Holidays. I thing because the US Govt cant control the weather they should give everyone a tax break every time bad weather hits so we all can go down south it should also apply to Canadians and the Canadian Govt just to be fair. We all must stick together.

Ugg. I’m not ready to face a winter like last with too much snow and cold. I do like getting tax credits for bad weather, sign me up!

Brrrrrr it’s so cold here now…can’t wait to get to the sun and sand! But definitely glad I’m not in northern Wis. or Minnesota!

I just spent the entire day sitting in the woods waiting to shoot a deer and I am frozen. Worse, no venison to show for my efforts. I saw a few but passed on them all because the shots weren’t certain, but the result is the same as if I hadn’t seen any. No venison liver for dinner tonight.

I’d move to Cayman right now if there were deer to hunt!

But, I have gotten two deer so far this year; one with Mrs DS’s Wrangler and one with the rental car we had while the Wrangler was getting fixed… Didn’t find either of them after the crash though, so still no venison :crying:

One ran right in front of the car right in front of us last night…fortunately a miss!

Glad we’re not in Buffalo—weather report said they might get 4 FEET of snow

Now that would suck big time!

Buffalo gets a dumping every year and should be on the Cayman Tourist Bureau hit list for promotion material.

They do get hammered with the lake effect snow. We get our share here in southern Michigan, but we’re in the southeast part so much of it gets dropped before it gets to us.

    Carpe shovel!

We had an ice storm last year and lost power for 6 days. I just got the weather report that freezing rain is coming which is not what I want to hear.

Ouch! Ice storms are rough. The weight drops lines like nothing else and the roads make any sort of effective response much slower than normal.

Sounds like it’s time for you to get out the generator and have it standing by.

    Think Cayman!
