It was a beautiful day along Seven Mile Beach.

And that Westin beach, lovely. I know someone who will love those palms when they see them. I like the way those are in the top of that shot, Joe.
Thank you!

P.S. Joe – MORE MORE MORE!!!!!!
is then too. Next yr. we will see each other their again and celebrate
and have a cocktail or two with you guys. You are the one with the
fabulous pics. I did get a new camera for Xmas this yr. I will have to send
you copies as i don’t have a clue how to post a pic on the computer. I
am good at emailing and shopping on ebay.
You take care Kin.
The house on the left was the second place Peggy and I rented when we first came to the Cayman Islands 13 years ago. Our first two weeks were spent at George Town Villas, followed by renting that little house for about 2 months. It used to have a tin roof and if anyone has ever stayed in a house with a tin roof during even a small storm you will know why we moved to a different condo after a couple of months.
Enjoy the flowers along the way; there is beauty in even the smallest of things.
There are plenty of trees for shade. That slightly darker area out there by the mooring ball is the shallow reef.
This is what you look for to find Cemetery Beach. There’s a small fire station on the other side of the road.
Sand gardens were common in the Cayman of yesteryear.
That last picture is so pretty and quaint. I will really love seeing something besides stucco!!

Thanks for all of the pictures! Beautiful as always! There are places there that I didn’t know exsisted! My trip in May will have many new places to see thanks to your pictures! kchick
As for the Old Homestead House…..absolutely charming and just about the size of home I would like now….so maybe there’s a chance it can be kept CLEAN!
One question about snorkeling at Cemetery Reef…….whenever we’ve gone, before you reach the wondrous reef and ALL those fish…..is it always a bit murky near shore? Didn’t know if we just always hit it at a bad time or not.(we tend to go around 9:00 am)………it’s amazing to get thru that little bit of murkiness and then go into the clear, blue, gorgeous water teeming with ALL kinds of fish…….a first favorite snorkeling location for us!
