Happy Hours in the Cayman Islands range from drink specials and discounts to free food. A typical happyhour cayman style may include drink specials, usually on selected well or mixed drinks and often an assortment of complimentary appetizers.

Almost all of our recommended restaurants feature their own unique versions of Cayman Islands happy hours. Some offer such a huge variety of excellent free food that you will not even need to order dinner! Cayman happy hours are a little different than in the US, where drinks are sometimes free or next to nothing. Because of the relatively high cost of alcohol in the Cayman Islands, Cayman happy hours tend to center more around free food with occasional drink specials; rather than substantially reduced prices on alcoholic beverages.

Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular happy hour nights among locals, who will typically arrive after work or later, usually between 5pm – 8pm. Week night happy hours tend to be less crowded and sometimes offer even greater savings or more food, providing greater incentive to attract as much business as possible during their slowest nights.
