We always book our condo and air separately so it’s hard for me to say. The Reef Resort is on the East End of the island. Most of the tourist stuff and restaurants are on the other side of the island.

If you want to stay on Seven Mile beach, then Marriott would be the place for you. Sunshine suites is across the road from the beach.

Something you might want to consider is a condo. Most of Cayman is condo accommodations or villas. They are quite nice and you have more room. But I have seen postings from many people who have stayed at the Marriott and enjoyed it. I would always want to stay on the water and that is not the case with Sunshine suites.

If you don’t want to bother with a car, or going to pick up groceries then probably your best bet is the Marriott. Check them out through the hotel search here too.

The restaurants in GC are good and you will probably enjoy eating dinners out. However if you want a totally fixed price then I guess you might like the AI-there are hardly any of them in GC-but I heard that the Marriott offers one also.

You are lucky to be able to get a nonstop and that is definitely worth something.
