I picked up a few tricks.

Get what you can duty free. Bring your max in alcohol and cigarettes.

Take some snacks and things you like from home. Some hard to find.

    Water is fine to drink.

Just rent a car for a few days . Most tours pick you up.

Take sunscreen a small cooler for drinks hat .

We did alot of walking. Used the car very little.

Alot of roads are not on maps and not marked very well. We did figure it out.Take snorkeling gear. Don’t overpack. I wore 1/2 and did laundry so i brought it home clean.

Take a warmer sweatsuit in case of rain.

We did leave Horseradish sauce butter and fruit bread and pop we didn’t eat at condo. It was nice that coffee was left for us and some dish soap.

Condo’s supply towels. Leave them home.

Water shoes a must. Many rocky areas you gotta see.

Take a beach bag that is flexible for walks. Money sunscreen towels .

I loved it and i am sure you will.

    Hi Again acatalina!

Thanks for this. This is the kind of info people need when planning the first trip. Especially about packing. We always end up wearing about half of what we packed.

The water shoes are definitely a must. Much of the shoreline is ironshore, which is basically old coral reef, and is rugged and sharp.

    Cheers,

    DS

One other thing, Garmin GPS’s work on Grand Cayman. They do have all the roads. I can’t speak for other brands.

This would come in handy on some of the roads in West Bay area! Man, what a maze that is!

That’s what we use ours for.
