Just learning to navigate the site and came upon this section. The pictures are just awesome. I have a new digital camera and I’m going to have to learn how to use it well so I have some photos like this. Simply beautiful.

I now know we’ll be renting a car to cruise the island. Is it easy to get around? I’m not sure how big the island is.

Oh, the sun, the sand, and a drink in my hand. Can’t wait. :palm1:

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong with that second page of emoticons but I always see a space between my sentences.

    Hi knees,

Glad you’re finding fun things to see and do.

About the spacing and emoticons – the spacing between lines is just because of how tall the emoticon is – like when you use that big palm tree there will be a bigger space between lines of text. Make sense?

Well, kind of but not really. When I go to more emoticons, and then I click on the space bar to add one, my post disappears and then I can’t add it. The only way I can get the second page e-cons in is to just click them and then they appear but not where I want them to. New at this stuff. ? ?

Oh the emoticons are fun to mess with. Sometimes I get carried away with them. Now let me see if I can tell you more about this without further confusing you…

When you are typing the text in the white box and decide you want to add an emoticon or even after you’ve typed everything and want to add some-

Place your cursor where you want the emoticon to be inserted into your text and left click your mouse.

Then mouse over to the emoticons on the left or click on “view more emoticons”. When you find the one you want, mouse over to the one you want and left click your mouse – this should place that emoticon where you had clicked your cursor in your text.

Does that help or am I making it worse? ?

Glad you found this part of the forum. I so enjoyed looking at all the pictures again! Joe even made mention of a beach that we will try to go to for some snorkeling on the Northside next year.

    Hi All,

Kelly and I found this palm on the south side of the airport in one of the subdivisions. You can see the water in the background.

I think you could see it from the right side of an airplane using runway 8, too.

We wouldn’t have seen it if we didn’t spend an afternoon exploring via Jeep. It’s too easy to get wrapped up in the diving and dining and miss what you find exploring around.

Okay, :sun: I’m going to practice a little and see what happens. :typing: I love the little emoticons. They crack me up When I do this, I have to close the view more box and then put my cursor where I want it. :read: I am not able to do more than one at a time. :wine: Having fun with this now. :band1:

Well, I’ve never used these before, but it seems like now might be the time to try. :clapping:

Any one see one of these on the island? :parrot:

Remember to :drive: on the left.

This is a lot of fun. I followed your directions and it worked out perfectly

    Shelly,

Thanks. The photo work was a breeze. My camera is smarter than I am, so I put it on automatic and all I have to do is hold it reasonably still and point it in the right direction. In this case, I shot through the Jeep windshield since a local dog was yapping around us. I didn’t want to get out since the mutt didn’t seem to like us strangers in his neighborhood.

    Shelly and Knees,

Holy Emos batman, you guys are out of control! I gotta admit that I get a kick out of some of the emos. Keep at it!

    Note to any Moderators,

Help. I can’t edit the narrative with my picture any more. Can one of you stick an ‘a’ in ‘background’ for me. Got it! – scubachar :thumb:
