Welcome to the forum, vacationer ? ,

I had also remembered hearing something about a $35 limit on something, so I just checked it out. The website I looked at said that you MIGHT (not WILL) be charged duty if you attempt to bring in more than $35 PER PERSON of meat…..not $35 of groceries….and, it’s per person (probably adults over 18). If you are bringing meat in, leave it in the packaging from the grocery store with the USDA seal on it. They won’t care about you bringng in a few dried goods like you describe. They just want it to be a reasonable amount for your consumption during your vacation…..i.e., you’re not bringing it in to sell or give away to others.

I think you won’t go wrong with either Hurley’s or Foster’s. Both are great stores, and yes, they will accept your Visa card.

    Have a wonderful vacation!

    Hey Char,

Thanks so much. What website did you find the info on? I searched all over. I think we’ll bring some stuff since we have 2 free bags a piece from American Airlines.
