I wish I had my annual airplane window farewell shots of the airport and island but the climbout put us in the clouds pretty quickly. So all I have for the last day are two shots from the condo. The rain just makes you start packing a little earlier than expected!

We had a great time, as always! Tried some new restaurants (La Dolce, Duke’s & Morgans Harbour), saw Eugenio & George, the Kittiwake and a “shark” and all in all enjoyed each other’s company, laughs and friendship!

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!!!

And one more item of interest…

The next time you think $4.04/gal is high, the gas for the rental car was $7.27 US! – or $93.75 for 12.9 gallons! ?

Very entertaining report Mike! You and your family appeared to have a real good time and the smiles in the pictures portrayed that. We are planning our first trip down sometime next year and the Kittiwake looks like the first thing on the itinerary. I wasn’t sure if a snorkel trip over it would be worth it but your pictures tell me it would be. :thumb:

Thanks snork! We do have a real good time during each of our visits. You do end up with severe Cayman withdrawl after each trip though! :crying:

Thanks Sherry! My report makes ME want to be back in the Caymans! That’s why I keep playing Power Ball & Mega Millions! I figure $2 a week is a great investment!

If you are anything like Kelly & Pat, Sherry, you are a fun loving Yates!! We had a great time with them and feel like we’ve known them forever! We are already talking about next year!

Thanks for the wonderful trip report and awesome photos.

It’s been a few years since we’ve been there and we can’t wait to try out some of the new restaurants you mentioned and maybe snorkel the Kittiwake. We also want to try out some snorkel sites like Barefoot Beach and the Queens Monument.
