Thanks for a great report, Shelly. It’s warmed me up each day I had a look.

Have a safe journey back tomorrow.

You’re not one of those donut guys, are you? You can bring them back for the guys at work instead of a rum cake—-ha ha

By the way-forgot to say hope your ankle is doing better and that you’ll be in good shape for your trip here.

These are really nice pictures, makes me wanna come back. We also saw the dunkin donuts shops and found starfish beach, what a treat that was. Did you see the lit up house across from Sunset house, that was awesome to see.

ralphy57—is that the one just past the Grand Old House. When we stayed on the other side of the island I dragged my husband and kids there every year. That’s one of the amazing ones!

    Shelly,

Nope, no donuts for me. I try to eat good stuff, like rum cakes…

The ankle is doing great. I’ll be in prime form for the vacation. The warm saltwater will no doubt have a therapeutic effect…!

Shelly, it’s past Grand Old House on the right, really across from Sunset House, we parked in the parking lot. It was really amazing, I walked around with a smile on my face.

the house we used to go and see was on the left as you drove past the Grand Old House from town. It was amazing too.

The other one is in Prospect-and it’s really huge—past Hurleys

    Shelly…outstanding job!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Hope you got back safely and some of the snow was melted! I can’t wait to get back. Where exactly is Starfish Point? We never found it last year. That was the biggest disappointment of last year’s trip.

DS…way to take one for the team and get the point despite the crippling injury!!!!

Take water cay road past Kaibo until you reach the sea. It’s like a peninsula-walk around the beach—we saw a number of them there this year right from shore. The ones I have seen have been more to the center and left side as you are facing the sea. Some people snorkel out, but we have seen plenty of them without getting our feet wet. I even saw 2 of them from a pier in front of Pools of the Kai.

Hope you find some next time you’re there

Is that the spot where you drive through an arch that looks like it could have been part of a subdivision at one time?
