jpep – You are even more familiar with the Hyatt staff than I am

    ? ?

Besides the fact that my wife and I are very sociable and love to meet new people, since the weather during our stay was less than perfect, we ended up spending more time at the Hyatt than traveling around the island, which we had planned. Nevertheless we still had a great time. ?

It is also very easy to get to know the staff and remember everyone when you treat them all with respect and they are more than happy to ensure your stay is memorable and enjoyable. ? That, coupled with the fact that the staff at the Hyatt are not only top-notch at what they do, but genuinely good people as well. ?

    I’ll get off my soapbox now…. ?

I must also confess that I have learned the trick of association when meeting new people that helps in remembering names… always look them in the eye, repeat the name several times to yourself when introduced and try to link the name with something that’s easy to remember… ?

Just try it a few times and believe me Jack…, er Joe… it works. ?

    Another great shot Joe, thanks….

Looks like you were standing right by the beach entrance with Hemmingways behind you to your right …. aaaahhhh

Those cabana chairs are great…. there were certainly enough to go around and definitely saved us from getting a little too crispy by the end of the day…. ?

jpep – That’s exactly where I was. Here’s one from a little farther back, towards Hemingway’s.

    Joe,

    Beautiful…..You’re killing me…. can almost read the menu… ?

    I do appreciate the composition.

That causarina is coming back beautifully… used it for a great late pm shade… ?

If I may be so bold, the only thing missing …. besides us … is a perspiring Stingray…. or [insert cocktail of your choice]…

    Thanks again… ?

Hemingway’s at the Hyatt is a scenic place to stop and have lunch on the beach.

Hemingway’s was our first stop when arriving to Cayman in October. We walked from the Marriott along the beach. It was so clear, water calm, not many vistors, clean beaches and warm sun. ?

First we hit the beach area then the pool bar.

We had the Conch fritters, Coconut Shrimp and Blackened Fish along with a few Coors light and red Stripe. It was wonderful. Thanks for bringing back such wonderful memories.

Have you ever been to GC in May? We’re looking at going then too but am worried about the rainy season.

midwestchick – You only need to post your question once. We are very good about answering all questions in a matter of minutes, regardless of where they are posted. As I mentioned in your other post, rain in May is extremely unlikely. ?

Jen – I took enough photos and video to last a few days. ?

Cindy – It’s raining now here too but up until about an hour ago it was a picture-perfect day. ?
