We had appetizers and cocktails at Macabuca and they were all very good! My bro-in-law really enjoyed the tropical cocktails but was disappointed that they didn’t come with little umbrellas
Hope you had as great a trip as we did!
It is so obvious that yours is a family that absolutely loves being together and building these memories each year. I think that you would be happy no matter where you would go together, but you choose to visit Cayman each year. How special is that!
I also love the way that you notice and appreciate even the smallest things around you……..the palm tree in the parking lot…..the tree on the beach that has grown nine feet tall since Ivan……the delight in your little nephew’s eyes as he takes it all in.
What a great family! Thanks for sharing them with us and making us feel part of all of you! What we see of Cayman in the background is just a bonus!

The better half here, thanks for the pictures. I use the I have fallen and can’t get myself a beer often especially since I am the only male in the house.

Macabuca is the great new outdoor tiki bar which is part of the Cracked Conch restaurant (read about them in the restaurant section of this forum).
Also, in the same location, is the dive shop …..that’s who you will deal with if you want to go snorkeling. They have all the gear for rent right there and they’ll give you good advice on where to go to see interesting things, and how to avoid the currents, if there are any that day.
Great spot!

Wait till you see the ladder….you practically walk in….it’s almost like a ramp.

Andy…I was getting nervous about my bro-in-law – he was too “into” those tropical drinks instead of his normal beer and red wine! I especially didn’t like when he held out his little pinky while drinking them!! (Just teasing you Kenny!!)
Thanks for all the kind comments
Our thoughts are with her,
Char
