There’s a shady picnic area right across the street from the blow holes.

That’s it for today. I have a lot more pictures to go through from yesterday and I am taking more tonight. In fact, I’m late!
Theere is a stark rugged beauty where the ocean meets that hardscrabble coast. Surf looks rough, does anyone surf or swim there?
Really like the contrast. Thanks for more great shots.
The pictures are wonderful!
Just seeing how nice everything looks made my heart smile. I’m glad to see the blow holes ‘going’ and how gorgeous it all is.
Thank you for doing this for all of us. I know it made my morning happier!
Off to warm up the car before heading to work…its 7 degrees out, as I shiver in the cold, I’ll think of you all warm and sunbaked there, taking wonderful photos! ARggggg.

We hope to see some of those pictures when you get back. If you have time, could you snap a few pics of the Morritt’s rebuilding process and post them in the timeshare folder? I’m hoping to get into the Tortuga Seaside units in may 2007. Have they laid a foundation yet, or are they still working on existing buildings?
Castaway’s Cove by the Reef Resort is looking good.
Here’s the new mall they are building up there.
Things are moving along well
There’s nothing, except actually being there, better than seeing new pictures. Keep up the GREAT work.

jpep – The water is always a little rough there and the beach is mostly rocky. I don’t think it would be a good place to swim or surf.
ajtux – I don’t know what they are putting in the mall. I think there is a discussion about that in one of the Reef Resort topics.
There is also an abundance of colorful flowers and trees.
