    Hi knees!

Glad you had a good time! And of course any vacation that includes a free beer has to be a winner! Can’t wait for a full blown trip report/photo extravaganza! Since I won’t be there till next february I may photoshop myself into some of your pics and tell everybody I was there with you!

    Squiddy (hey…. where’s Lenny?)

Don’t think I would call it free…….. ? ? ? ? ? Somehow we paid for it…….amazing what they charge for Caybrew at other places.

Have some squid pictures just for you……..been looking at pictures this afternoon……have some really good ones……now I have to figure out how to take my SD cards and get the video part to post……. :crying: :crying:    Too much technology for me…… :bouncelaugh: :bouncelaugh: I actually found about 5 squid at Smith’s Cove at one time and switched my camera to video…..they were so neat to watch.

I cannot believe how many pictures I took.

Haven’t found them yet….a whole day is gone….

There is an excellent site here for posting pictures with great directions, Tracy. It was very helpful to me. Now I have to figure out the videos…..Joe sent me a link.

    knees,

The only thing is that we used throw away cameras. Don’t think that will work. I have digital now and I am going to buy an underwater cam. so next go around should be better.

    Tracy,

If you don’t want to invest a ton of money, look at the Sea Life cameras……they are amphibious…..love mine.

    knees,

Who makes that camera? I’ve been looking into the Olympus (400.00)

    tracy,

The camera is made by Sea Life……mine is the eco shot digital sports camera and it will go down to 75 feet and there is another one that goes to 100 feet…I only use ours for snorkeling and also some above water shots. It’s 6.0 MP, shockproof to 6 feet….it has a black rubber case so no need for the clear underwater case that you need for some cameras. We bought ours at a dive shop here where we bought our snorkel equipment. This year I purchased the mini wide angle lens that goes with it.

This might be a stupid question? Have you used it for photos not under water? Or is it strickly underwater use? I’ve been looking at a camera with underwater capability.

    There are not stupid questions. ? ? ? ?

Yes, it’s amphibious……I used it a lot but at times I did not like the night pictures……there’s no stabilization like I have with my Canon and depending on who took the pictures they did not turn out well.

One of these days I’ll get pictures posted.

This is what the camera looks like.

We got a much better deal on it at the dive shop locally.
