just a note...Wed evening around 9pm....couldn't connect to server here...

I'm not complaining, but Joe wanted to know when we couldn't get here.

Just wanted to post,this is the first I've been able to login here today since I first tried at 4:30-5pm.

Interestingly, I could not get here yesterday when others were here.

I tried early afternoon (1:30ish) and again later in the afternoon (4ish).

Tried once last night and couldn't connect....didn't try again.

Weird...don't get it?

A nice, cold, freakish snowstorm yesterday, and I could not get here all afternoon and evening. Sad

Reading trip reports, looking at pictures and researching a beautiful island woulda warmed me up.

Have you tried refreshing the page? I've had to do that sometimes lately, here and the weather page.

Yep...refreshing the page MOST times doesn't work. Once in a blue moon, it will. If I can't login, I try coming back later.

Even try just googling "Cayman Activity Guide" so the forum page doesn't load...nothing.

Some days (like today), I can get here any time with no problem. Other days...not at all.

It's really strange.

But, I post because Joe requested it.

FWIW, I ran into the same issue when I was on-island a week ago. I did a tracert and got "Unable to resolve target system name www.caymanactivityguide.com"

Thank you billinwilliamst, and Barb, for helping isolate this issue. I have Noah looking at it now and I'll try to run some tests later as well. I appreciate your ongoing feedback to help isolate the times and places where this is occurring.

I was here earlier reading and went to "turn the page", and lost connection.

I left for awhile, but was able to come back.

Hopefully it'll last thru the nite.

and since I posted that last night, when I tried to login this morning at 9:15am (est), couldn't. weird. but...hour later, all's good.

Thank you for the updates Barb. It seems the dns issues were corrected. Our site was down for a few hours early this morning for maintenance and it took longer than I thought.

Was the server down? I couldn't login for 2 days. I got a message that said server couldn't be found.

Thank you for reporting this Shelly. Were you in the Cayman Islands when this happened? I think I have the problem fixed now but please post here if you (or anyone) have any problems accessing our website.
