Vacation count down

Is there a prolem with the vacation coundown feature? All of a sudden my countdown disappeared from my posts. I went to my profile and saw that it was unchecked. So I checked it and updated my profile but the update doesn't work.

I notice many of the people on vacation this week and next week have all of a sudden "disappeared" from the vacation list as well.

Yes, I noticed the same thing a couple of days ago......Joe has told us that Noah, our webmaster, is making some improvements to the vacation countdowns, and that they may disappear or act erratically in the next few days. Hopefully, it will all be back to normal soon.

(Don't worry, you still get to go on your trip.....it hasn't been cancelled..... rofl2

)

Just a thought.....in addition to checking the box to enable your vacation countdown, did you also scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on "submit". I had to do that the other day, and now mine shows up...

I tried that (and just tried again) but the box "unchecks" itself after I click on "submit". That's okay.

Mine seems to be working.....

make sure you check that the format is correct. Needs to be the day first and then the month .... I did notice that if the vacation is complete it no longer shows up ....

Noah had completed the countdown updates and they should now be working properly. If anyone experiences any further problems, please post it here.

Yep I was able to re-activate my countdown. Yay.

How do I post my vacation site and count down?

Lcrich,

To post vacation site and countdown, you need to go to your Profile and insert your details under the section "vacation countdown" and then make sure you check the box "enable countdown"

Also note that for the date the format is: day / month / year
