Well it appears since Wednesday we have received over 9 inches of rain so yes we are a bit soggy and the weather reports are indicating a bit more rain for us but the long term forecast shows it clearing up in a couple of days. In the meantime there is the potential for a depression to form but it should pass over us before it moves up to tropical storm.
This is most unusual for this time of year, if it moves to storm level it will be the first named storm of the year which I believe is Alberto.
Anyhow, there is plenty to do even when it is raining here which I will post in my blog soonly.
In the meantime, we do need the rain so that all that wonderful local produce that many of our recommended restaurants uses can grow and be available
If you are here on vacation right now, so sorry for our liquid sunshine but perhaps you can enjoy a Cayman Sunset in the form of a drink
Meanwhile I'm going to go slog my way through hound walking and grocery shopping and Saturday morning errands and hope this is not a tropical storm that will hit the US!
