I don't know if it is just me, but it seems like I have seen the same picture on the Royal Palms "Live" Webcam for the past week!

It is not you...occasionally that camera gets "stuck" and someone there has to reset it. If you click on the photo it enlarges and you can make out the date and time of the picture.

You also can go to the Royal Palms website and see their 2nd cam. It generally stays more current. reefgrill.com

In this case it looks like it was stuck for a few days. But in general, to facilitate page loads, the web cams do not refresh automatically as you browse through the forum topics. To update the webcam you can refresh your browser, or push the F5 key on your keyboard. Wink

So I am clear Joe...I refreshed and refreshed...it seems like it has been "stuck" for around 30 days as I also went directly to the reefgrill.com page and it was stuck there for around 30 days. The other "netcam" on that site updated every day as I get my fix several times a day...lol.

Just making sure...I am a fan of the cam and do not want to give out wrong information on this cam that was apparently stuck way more then a few days????

I was so excited when I saw what I thought was a live web cam today, but it's just an old one......if you click on it and it enlarges, it's dated Aug. 1st. The one that was here for weeks and weeks was dated Aug. 31st. That one was really dirty (I thought from salt spray from Hurricane Dean), so at least this one is "prettier".

Wonder what's going on....

It is funny because I went to another site that has lots of web cams on the other side of the Island and it was cloudy and rainy and then came here and it was apparently sunny and I thought..typical Cayman weather. Smile

Now I realize your right...it is even an older picture.

Wonder why the 2nd cam is almost always live and the cam up top seems to always malfunction.

Oh well...at least there are options now.

The Royal Palms cam is up-to-date, but either I had a much harder weekend than I thought, or the lense is a wee bit dirty this morning.

I know! I feel like I have to keep rubbing the sleep out of my eyes, but it doesn't help!

Someone needs to go down there and wipe all that salt spray off the camera!! I volunteer.........

Yep...and not only did they clean it and change the angle...when you click on the cam it loads to almost a full screen view...almost feels like you're there. It does appear the clock is off a bit but who cares...it's a great shot.

How great is that ThumbsUp

Just like you said, spiritman, when you click on the photo, it gets HUGE! I'll bet when people are sitting at those tables eating lunch, that we can just reach out and grab a french fry!
