This is a question for Joe probably, but anyone who knows can answer:

Why does the scrolling information on the board no longer contain the water temperature?

I loved looking at it and knowing that the water was actually warmer than the air temperature here. Gave me great things to look forward to when we finally get to GC.

That is a really good question. I don't know if the scrolling line is a feed from another weather site or something. Joe would probably answer it best, but he is on appointments all day. I'm sure he'll check in tonight and be able to give you a better answer than I did - just didn't want to leave you hanging!

No problem. I figured I'd have to wait for Joe, but thought maybe someone else may already know the answer.

My bigger problem is that when I post a message, it seems to take forever for it to appear.

Hmmmm...I haven't heard about that happening before. Is it happening with all messages or just your first topic posting?

I will let the pro's handle it...I will bring it up to Joe & Noah and have them look into it for you. I'm sure it is something simple, but I'm not a computer guru by any means. computer2

Thanks for the concern. I am going to be shutting down my computer and running a few checks and cleaning things up, so maybe that will solve the problem. I'm betting it's my system acting up since no one else seems to be having the problem.

Thanks again. And if Joe comes up with an answer for my original question, I'd love to know.

Does anyone know what the current water temp is? I notice this site says 87 degrees, and the official Cayman Islands site says 80. That's a big difference. It makes a difference on which kind of exposure suit I'll bring for diving. Gotta keep it under the 50 lbs. luggage limit! Rolling Eyes Especially if I need the extra room for the yummy rum cakes.

Not sure about 87, but my dive computer registers 84 and we are here right now. So, its definitely not 80, but probably not 87 either.. 84-85 is about what it seems to be. Very nice indeed! ThumbsUp
