Will be down in GC in a week and I want to know what is biting now? Any yellowfin tunas to be had? Is it still wahoo time?

I would be interested in spitting a charter or two.

I have been fishing in Grand Cayman for many years, know the charters I would book, and just like to fish.

Look forward to hearing from you like minded fisherman.

Hey gotobeachfront,

Just got back from Cayman last night, and although didn't do any fishing, I might still be able to answer your question. Your friend and mine, Ollen Miller, told us that the tuna and mahi mahi just aren't around Grand Cayman right now, due to the cool water temperatures this winter. They do seem to be around Little Cayman and Cayman Brac, however. Anyway, yes, there are still wahoo being caught.

Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Char

Thanks Char!

I guess it is still early for the Tunas. I did read a fishing forum where a guy posted that a Mahi fest was going on early morning off the Rum Point drop off.

Ollen is a great fisherman. I fished with him in January.

Maybe we'll try it on the North Side if not to bumpy...

OK so I booked a fishing charter for Monday March 15th. It is a half day morning trip but if I got someone to split the charter cost I would do a full day...

Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin....

I am planning our trip in June and would love to get a charter fishing trip for the 4 of us. I have never fished in Grand Cayman but would like to get some fishing charters recommended. If anyone could suggest a good fishing charter I would greatly appreciate your response.
