Need Recommendation for Afternoon Stingray City Tour

Hubby and I will be there in a few weeks and want to do stingray city. He will be doing dives in the morning so will have to be an afternoon tour. What company offers the best tours there?

Hi,

We highly recommend Soto's Cruises for Stingray City tours. They have an afternoon tour that leaves at about 1:30 p.m., so that would probably work out well for you.

I went on the Soto's trip myself (for the first time) last February, so I can really recommend them from personal experience........their boat is very fast, very clean.......they usually don't take more than 20 people, so it's never crowded.......the staff is great and they give lots of personal attention.

In order to get the discounted price, you have to pay in cash and reserve it directly (not through a hotel concierge). It doesn't hurt to mention that you are a member of this forum, either Wink

Char, thanks....I will get in touch with Soto.....problem is that their afternoon leaves at 130 which is really going to be tight with hubby's diving schedule.

Oh, I see.....I'm not sure if you'll find any operators who would be leaving much later than 1:30 p.m.

Not sure who he's going diving with, but when we do a two tank dive in the morning (we leave at 8:00 a.m.), we are often back home in our condo by 11:30 or noon......at least when we are diving on the West Side. If that's the case for him, he could probably make it work.
