Rent Your Own Boat for an Intimate Stingray City Experience

Hi everybody,

We are going to the cayman's in june.

Can we rent a boat and go our selfs to the sting ray.

So we can go when ever we want and do our own thing ?

I don't have an answer for you but that is an EXCELLENT question and I am waiting for a reply from a member who might know.

It would be nice to get out early before the crowds and then spend the rest of the day around the island.

Moore Marine offers boat rental and you could easily get to Stingray City on your own. You will find all the details and photos in their topic

Do the regulations that they have in place now have any bearing on individuals going out to sting ray city with a boat, or are the regulations for the commercial boats?

Hi Shelly - Very Happy

The regulations and restrictions for Stingray City apply to commercial charters. Moore Marine will provide all of the documentation pertaining to any restrictions that may apply but I am not aware of any besides common sense, like not harassing the stingrays.
