My boss just returned from GC yesterday. Took his boys to SRC, and were advised that no one is allowed to give food to the stingrays any longer, as in the past. All charters I've taken, have given me squid to hold out, etc. Turns out someone apparently did some wrong...and they were told it's now a new Cayman Law.



Anyone know about this?

This must be real new as we were there a fornight ago and fed squid to the stingray.... Neutral

just went to SRC today on a dive with don fosters and only the dive master was allowed to feed the rays. i think it was 1 - 2 lbs of squid and that's all. we interacted with the rays in a circle while the lead dive guy sat in the middle feeding. still enjoyable, but not as many rays as expected. probably because not everyone was feeding. in any case it was fantastic and we were able to explore the whole area during the dive as well. can't wait to see the video!!!

hI, JUST GOT BACK ON 10/20/07. WE WENT OUT TO SRC WITH SOTOS WHO I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WE WERE ABLE TO FEED THE RAYS. IT WAS AWESOME!!!
