We'll be making our way back to Grand Cayman in 31 days (yippeee!!!), and I would like to have hubby's and my portrait taken on the beach. Can someone suggest a shop to purchase a nice sundress, in a beautiful island-type print? I'm not familiar with clothing stores, and I don't want to spend a fortune. Thanks!

Hi biggbsfan and Welcome:

There are many clothing stores here but the prices are going to be very high—particularly for visitors due to Cayman's 20% currency conversion.

My wife—who is a shopaholic Razz purchases most of our clothing in Miami, as do the majority of the locals.

If you don't have a store in your area that carries what you are looking for, you could always try doing a search online. idea

liking the avatar bigbsfan....and have a great time in paradise! I might have to get an aquarium just to see how our cats react.......sure the one would be looking for the tartar sauce and the other would be hiding under the bed.

Welcome to the forum biggbsfan Smile ,

I totally agree with Joe.....try to find something like that before you go. Even if you could find something that you liked in Cayman, it would be sooooo much more expensive.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law will be coming with us this year, so for Christmas, I decided to get him a tropical flowered shirt. The stores around us haven't got much of a selection of these, so I shopped on-line and got just what I wanted. Many of the shirts had matching dresses for the women, so you guys could even do that!

Just search for "tropical" or "Hawaiian" shirts and/or dresses. I was very happy with what I received.
