My mother has been coming to Cayman for 10 or 12 years, and somehow she never really knew of Pure Art until our last trip together. We stopped just before we had to get to the airport to leave, and didn't leave nearly enough time as we would have liked...but we certainly will this year!

I have only been there once this past June and I really enjoyed this store. She was supposed to close at 5:00 pm, but stayed open a little later the day we were there (till 5:30) because of some work that was being done. Not sure when she opens. Maybe someone else has more details on the hours.

I will offer this reminder - there is a coupon for Pure Art in the Activity Guide or one you can print from the coupon page here - But you must pay with cash to be able to use the coupon.

ralphy57.......it's a charming, wonderful little place...full of arts and crafts....paintings and prints and crafts from local artists, jams and goodies, locally made....books and nicknacks and wall sculpture and jewelry and too many things to remember. It's a real must do!

The gal that runs/owns it is a real sweetheart too.....nothing seems to be too much trouble for her, as long as she makes you happy.....a real gem.

Thanks for sharing that John. Cool I was running low on cash the day I was there so was unable to get the discount. I didn't remember seeing the sign. Thanks for letting us all know! ThumbsUp

Pure Art is my FAVORITE store. We always go there and find very reasonable gifts and souveniers. However, when we were there last January, they were closed every time we went there. Later we found out that she was on holiday. So when you ask for hours, make sure you give her the dates that you will be there. Oh, to live on Cayman time! Smile
