Sunshine suites vs. Marriott Courtyard

We will be in Grand Cayman for 12-27 through 1-2. Which would be a better stay? They are priced about the same. Any help would be great.

My husband and i returned from Cayman 2 weeks ago. Our last 2 days were spent at the Marriot/Courtyard. Marriott is expected to close for renovations later this year. The lady at the counter told me the hotel will close down in December for renovations. Just an FYI.

As HayleysMom mentioned, the Courtyard is closing soon and Sunshine Suites has much larger rooms and a less crowded beach. You need to know that both of those properties are not walking distance to anything but you will probably want to rent a vehicle anyway.

You can get discount rates at Sunshine Suites through our Hotel Search. I would also select the Marriott; they are a little more expensive but well worth it.

What is the proximity to the beach?

Sunshine Suites and the Marriott Courtyard are across the street from the beach. The Marriott Beach Resort that Joe mentioned is directly on the beach.
