Comfort Suites vs. Courtyard Marriott?

Comfort Suites or Courtyard Marriott??? Which do you recommend for our second week on the island? We will be on the east end the first week and need to make reservations for the second week. They will cost about the same. We have three children traveling with us. Thanks for any advice as we have never been to this island.

I would personally choose Comfort Suites with having kids with. You have a kitchenette with fridge, stove, etc... Easier on the meal budget, plus a wonderful continental breakfast every morning.

The other perk is you are on the beach side of the street at the Comfort Suites, about a 30 yards walk down a path to the beach.

While the Courtyard is beautiful, you have to cross main road to get to the beach, so it would be difficult just to run up to the room and back if you need something. Courtyard does have a large & beautiful pool.

When are you going? They are currently building a new condo complex right in front of Comfort Suites, I'm not sure of the current progress. You might call down to CS and ask the front desk staff about the construction noise or disturbance, if any.
