Hello, first timer here.

If anyone can offer some simple advice I would appreciate it as I have gotten myself completely overwhelmed with where to stay (they all look beautiful). My sister and I are coming at the end of August with our 16 and 17 year old children. Never snorkeled, never even swam in the ocean so we're complete newbies! I think I have it narrowed down to Treasure Island condos or Seabreeze condos, but that is subject to change. Seabreeze packages include a rental car, is this the smart way to go?

Any thoughts????

Thank you so much in advance!

Welcome, Boomer.

We stayed in a 3BR oceanfront unit at Treasure Island at the end of April, and we really liked it. I don't have any personal knowledge of Seabreeze, but I just looked it up. It is on the "quieter" side of the island. With teenagers, you might like the location of TI better. It is much more in the heart of things.

You will love this trip. I would suggest getting some snorkel gear and trying it out at home before your trip. Then you would be more comfortable once you arrived. You really should go snorkeling. It is my favorite activity in the world. I would go all day, every day if I could.

There are discounts for TI through the hotel search at the top of the page. There is a discount code (CAG20) for Andy's car rental.

If you have any TI questions, I may be able to answer.

Allison

Hi Boomer,

Try the hotel search feature and compare the rates you receive back. that may help in your decision .....
