How long does it take? Comfort Suites

I sent an e-mail for a quote for Comfort Suites. My husband and I planning on a March trip to Cayman. I submitted my request, via this website, on December 31st. I still havn't received my quote. Any suggestions on who I can speak to directly to get some information. I've decided that I'll just call them.

Sorry you haven't heard from them yet.......I think they all try to respond within 48 hours of your request. Since we're just coming off the holidays, they might not have even received the request until Jan. 2nd......you'll probably hear from them any day now.

I really think that the best way to be sure you get the discount is to go through this website. If you call them directly, the person on the phone might not be aware of the arrangement with the Activity Guide. Maybe they will, but I think I've heard others having problems if they try to book some of the hotels themselves, and I know that the discount can't be applied retroactively once you book at a higher rate on your own.

Comfort Suites has discounts also for people who are over 50 and over 60yrs. It can be easily booked by calling direct to their 800 # so go to their web site and check for their #s. Good luck.

scuevas65, please let us know when you finally do hear back from Comfort Suites. We want to be aware of any problems such as slow response times, etc.

I'm sure that there are other discounts out there besides the one from the Activity Guide, but it is my understanding that our discounts are equal to or better than any other discount. Of course, if they don't get back to you in a timely fashion, then what can you do? Please keep us informed.

If you do end up calling the hotel directly, be sure to mention the Activity Guide, no matter what rate you end up getting. We like the hotels to know where people are hearing about them Wink

PS: My husband and I are in our late 30's so we're not quite ready for the senior discount Very Happy

My second request from Comfort Suites - via this website - has once again been dismissed. I have not received any information from them. It's too bad they don't want my business. I ended up calling Julia at Cayman Villas and booked our stay with them instead. I sure hope this isn't typical customer service from Comfort Suites. On the positive note, my conversation and experience with Julia was very wonderful. My husband and I are really looking forward to our stay at Cayman Villas in March.

I'm so glad that you had a great experience with Julia at Caymanvillas! Did you, by any chance, access them through this website or did you just contact them directly? They also should offer you a discount for being a member here.

Sorry about the Comfort Suites situation.....

Just out of curiosity, which location did you book via caymanvillas?

We are staying at the Reef Resort. Yes, I did use this website to get the CAG discount. Julia was great in answering all my questions and being patient with me while I made the decision. Smile
