Hi from Wales in the UK.

We are thinking about taking a new job in Grand Cayman palm and have been looking at places to live. We could afford up to CI$3,000 per month rental and keep a place in the UK or could, alternatively, buy a place outright for maybe CI$600,000. Confused

Any views on whether we should buy or rent? It seems from looking at local realtor websites that we would get more by buying but what about the additional running costs like insurance, etc.??

Any help would be really appreciated! Laughing

Kind regards

David

David your best bet would be to contact James Bovell at ReMax Cayman Islands. He can give you the info you need. His contact info is posted here on the CAG. If you are staying for 7 yrs I would suggest buying but James can give you the best locations for renting or buying. If he is not in talk to his assistant Mable.

Good Luck

Leo
