The report explains that distressed sales were at a seven-month low in June, thanks to the end of the home buyer tax credits. Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps opens this week. There are so many deals are available in real estate. Every one can share their thoughts about it. All of you have a great knowledge. According to me i think that holding so many land is the best real estate.

While reviewing the Cireba web site I can see bargains waiting to be picked up. For those who are buyers now is the time to get your agent lined up ( I am an agent with Remax in Canada so call me jaded ). Anyone with a property for sale needs to negotiate on their price so don't be afraid to try them on. You're not going to find a better time to buy in the Caymans than now. Prices are much better than a lot of the other Caribbean Islands and are a whole lot safer. Be smart and learn from those who have grabbed bargains in the past, buy when the market is low and enjoy it.

Well I was down in August and the bargains are still there. It is now cheaper to buy in Cayman than it is in Toronto. I never would have thought that possible but it is.

Deep sigh. A condo in the Cayman Islands would be nice. The main drawback is that we always want to see new islands and owning on one would make us feel like we had to go there.

Still, the temptation is strong....

DS now is the time to buy. Prices are about as low as you will see them in Cayman so take the plunge. You can always rent your unit out when you aren't there to cover the costs. This will give you a permanent base still allowing you to travel and protect yourself against future increases in the future. Good hunting.

Oh man. Tempting. I gotta get Mrs DS to make more money so we can buy one. I've offered to move down to any condo we buy and maintain it so she can come down and visit from time to time, but, strangely, she doesn't go for that idea!

DS life isn't fair. You need to convince your wife it's for health reasons. You have to come down with something that long stays in Cayman will cure and it's the only place on the earth this will happen.

Sign your Will before you bring this up it will be more persuasive. Congratulations on your new Condo.

I figure she could visit for a long weekend each month, even for a week or two now and again. I, of course, would stay down here to keep the place neat and tidy for her.

I'd be doing it out of love for her. Sure, I'd miss the cold, the snow, the freezing rain, the icy roads, the bitter winds, the endless midnight shifts in the patrol car, the drunks, the druggies, etc. But for her....., I'd suffer through the loss and stay on GCM.

Men will do almost anything with Love for a good woman. You are a Saint and I am sure your Wife will see the sacrifice. Explain it to her and I am sure she will say " Go for it ". I would suggest a good Medical Plan before bringing this up again just in case her Mother convinces her that it's a trick. You know how these things are misinterpreted. I certainly understand your point about the cold so use that as the excuse for the medical plan.
