Just curious to know if Cayman has Bank of America ATM's out there or not. Also, what are the average fees for withdrawl at an ATM? AND...Can I exchange money at my hotel?

Vegas M - We have CNB ATMs and they accept most bank cards. Their locations are listed on our maps in the magazine. I don't know what the fees are - probably comparable to the US. Most hotels will change money, but at the same rate as everywhere else so you really don't need to bother converting. Unless you are considering a large transaction, the .80 conversion rate you get at most establishments is fair and you can just spend US dollars wherever you go.

Joe,

Do you know if the Cayman Express ATM outside the airport Fosters is operational yet? Thanks

Sue

Congrats on your three turtles, Sue! It is only fitting that you now have the title "temporary resident" since that's kind of what you really are! Rolling Eyes

I really enjoy all of your posts and your input!

Thanks scubachar, Actually on North side, we are considered "locals." That's from spending way too many hours at the Driftwood, I guess. Cheers
