When I see coupons, prices, special deals, etc., should I assume the money referred to is US money or Cayman money? Such as a $12.99 meal or $45 tour?? I know the difference is only 20%, but I'm curious. We went to Belize last summer and the prices at the stores were all in Belizean dollars, which meant the $14 t-shirt was only $7 American!! When I see a $14 Cayman t-shirt, am I going to pay $16.80 US? (Where's my calculator??)

Typically you will see either a US or CI next to the amount. Most stores price their items in CI but may also have the amount listed in US as well. The grocery stores are in CI.

Quick answer, if it says $14.00 assume it is Cayman dollars. If it turns out to be in US, then you have extra money for Jager shots!!!
