How Far From Port to 7 Mile Beach?

hi everyone. This is our first time to Grand Cayman and I was wondering how far the walk is from Georgetown to Seven Mile Beach. We are tendering in from a cruise and I was just wondering if we would need to get transportaion to the beach or can you bascially walk to everything?

Welcome to the forum! wave Georgetown is not too far, but when you don't have alot of time use the bus or grab a cab. We used the bus its only 2$ per person.

Thanks tracya!! We will do that! I think we have 8 hours in Grand Cayman and we are just going to do things on our own. No excursions from the ship that day!!!

Agree on the Bus which is only $2 but unreliable or grab a taxi for $4. Several options for the beach but my recommendation would be go to Calico Jacks or Royal Palms on SMB - You can also rent a phone for the day from the Port (where the tender docks) which is handy and cheap to call the states!
