Swim the Horses!

I just got back from one of the most amazing experiences I ever had in my life! With Pampered Ponies you not only go on a beautiful beach ride and explore nature trails but you actually swim the horses! And I do not mean just trot around in the water. You ride bareback and cling to them as they swim through the water with you on their back!

I'll post a complete review with more pictures and a video in the next few days. In the mean time if anyone is planning a visit in the near future, put this on the top of your must-do list. I rank this right up there with Stingray City! You have to try this to believe it, it really is that incredible!

These horses are not standing up!

Cruise Passengers: I will be posting the coupon for Pampered Ponies in the Cruise section ASAP. In the mean time you can email them at:

ponies@candw.ky and mention the Activity Guide discount. They will pick you up near the dock, take you on this incredible adventure and then drop you off at a quiet beach with snorkeling and refreshments, if you like.

Do not miss this rare and exciting opportunity!

Met a person in the horse biz from Kentucky during my stay. She says she wanted to do the swim and ride during her stay but most of these places (in the Carribbean at large) treat their horses very poorly. One, it could have been Coral Stables, the horses were so emaciated, they were eating their own dung. Don't give your money to these people and maybe they can't afford to keep them any longer and give them away to someone who will take better care of them.

Thank you for your comments wwilliams. Unfortunately many horseback operations do neglect their animals. That is one of the reasons that we are so selective about who we endorse and promote.

Pampered Ponies is without question one of the most caring and quite literally "pampering" horseback riding operations in the Cayman Islands.

I swam the horses with Pampered Ponies last visit. I have friends who own horses and I have been around horses most of my life. I can state unequivocally that the horses at Pampered ponies are, quite literally... "PAMPERED".
