Blow Holes are located 1.4 miles east of Frank Sound Road. If you are going to Rum Point or any of the attractions or restaurants in East End, you will either pass by or be very close to them. It's well worth a quick stop to take a picture and witness their beautiful expos? of color and energy.

Peggy helps put it in perspective. On a choppy day I've seen them get up to 20-30 feet high.

There is a little bench where you can sit and watch or a ladder that leads down to them. Be careful if you take the ladder - it's not in that great of shape last time I saw it and the shoreline is rocky.

There is a shady area with tables and benches right across the street where you can stop and rest, sort out your camera gear or have a picnic.

Joe,

Those were fabulous! Thanks so much for being our eyes! Wink

I love how you point out the areas around the attraction as well.

Glad to see that the Blowholes are back 100%! When we were down there in June, both Gardengirl and I saw them, but they weren't up to their pre Ivan days yet...........I'm SO grateful to the scuba divers who cleaned that area up!

Riding up to the Reef, seeing the Blowholes is a highlight I really look forward to.........that and seeing the LIGHTHOUSE.....and knowing I can now eat a delicious first meal in Cayman for the just-begun trip!

It's great to see them "blowing" again. I love the "whooshing" sound they make!

This is something that we have missed on both of our trips to GC. I hope to see them on our next trip. Thanks for posting such great pics Joe.

At least three hours to walk. You can find these locations in the map section of our main site.
