We will be staying in GC for fourteen days. I saw in one post an allowance of one carton of cigs per person.. I also saw another post of 2 cartons per person.. My husband is a die hard smoker.. What is the correct allowance? Also, I don't eat meat so that's not a prob for me. Someone mentioned a farmers market.. are the veggies grown organically? What's the cost of bottled water now as well as a 12 pack of beer or soda? Do I NEED bottled water? I read the list of things to bring and receipts etc.. If you know of a website, feel free to list please.. Thanks..

The limit of cigarettes that you can bring in duty-free is 200 cigarettes per person 18 years or older in your party. Sorry, don't know how many cigarettes are in a carton.

No, you don't need to buy bottled water.......the water is perfectly safe to drink.

Sorry, I have never bought vegetables anywhere except in the grocery stores, like Foster's. Veggies there are just beautiful!

Can anyone tell me how much a pack of cigarettes cost. How many are you allowed to bring in with you?

Don't recall the price of a pack of cigarettes, but each person over 18 years old is permitted to bring one carton (200 cigarettes) per person into GC without paying a duty.

The cigarettes I saw there are about 6.00 a pack with very limited brands avaiable... You may do what I do. I give my husband one of his cartons to pack in his suitcase and I pack his second carton in my suitcase. I carry mine in my purse which is not a whole carton. Wink It is slightly over the limits, but I never say anything if they ask. Rolling Eyes

Buy the cigs at the duty-free shop of your US departure airport. Savings will be significant.
