Carry On

We're flying to Cayman Brac in September for our wedding and honeymoon. Most of the bridal magazines have suggested carrying on my wedding dress so it does not get wrinkled. They state that the attendants should be able to hang it in a closet or back room during the flight.

Has anyone had experience with this? I'd hate to get all the way to the plane and have them tell me no.

Wow! Good question!

I think you'd have to call the airline, though, and ask them directly. I'm sure they all have different policies.

don't know what airline you are flying, but having a bridal gown, most flight attendants will put something special like that in the closet at the front of the plane, generally used to hold suit jackets for first class passengers........call the airline just to doublecheck, but most flight attendants are generally nice and can't imagine anyone turning you down, if you are not in the first class cabin........and not too many suit jackets are worn to Cayman!!

Keep in mind that your flight from GC to the Brac is on a little Otter type airplane .... no closets on board, but you may be able to keep it in your lap (it's a short flight).. Char and Celine are correct, the larger airlines to GC from the US may have closet space, but the best thing to do is contact your airline and make sure ....

Jack; good advise, but they still run one jet most days to the Brac.

So she may be alright.

Check the equipment on your ticket to make sure.
