Hi all you smart folks. I am looking to bring my husband to Grand Cayman in July and was thinking about renting a smart phone as kinda a tiny little electronic tour guide. That way we can download the Activity Guide to the device as well as be able to use the internet, maps, and make local on island calls. I don't want e-mail or to make calls to and from home. The whole idea is to get away after all. rockbed Any ideas and/or suggestions and what the cost would be?

Hmmm. Can't give a cost estimate, but it sounds like a great idea. I'll be interested to see what others can offer.

verizon wireless will allow you to switch to an iternationa calling plan for a month. put will pro-rat it fo the time you are actually away it is costing me 12 dollars for 11 days in GC
