Jelly Fish

HI,

Can anyone tell me how prevalent jellyfish are on the East End? We will be staying at the Reef Resort and I love swimming in the ocean, but am terrified of jellyfish Rolling Eyes

We've been going to Cayman for many years, usually two times a year....only because we can't afford THREE

... and this April was the only time that we saw the jellyfish......they were the thimble jellyfish and look like their name. They were there one day, for just a few hours and never saw them again. We stay at the same place you will be staying.

You'll see them in the water before you enter, should they be there....but I seriously doubt it!

Thanks so much for the info, I was a bit worried about that. We went to Curacao a couple years ago and there were "none" and I was hoping for the same snorkel experience in GC. Very Happy

We've been to GCM numerous times and have not found jellies to be a problem during any of our trips.

So, have a great trip and don't be too concerned with jellies!
