Map?

23 days, 19 hours, and 10 minutes until we leave for GC!!! (But, who is counting) Wink

We have been looking around on the Internet for a detailed map of 7MB and Georgetown. We are staying at the TI condos and would like to know what is within walking distance. We are looking for restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, etc.

Is it worth the money to buy the map at Cayman Islands Guide Map by Franko?

About a map, if you go to the top of the fourm and download the magazine, it has really good maps and reviews and coupons in there.
It is the same magazine you can pick up at the airport too...
Its like the Cayman bible for us tourist!

Another thing you could do is to click on "Site Tour" in the banner at the top of this page, which takes you to the web page for the Cayman Activity Guide. Once there, click on "Maps". You will find Treasure Island on the 7 Mile Beach Map (Map 3).......I think it is in grid number D-12, if I'm not mistaken. If you look at the Georgetown map (Map 4), you will see some restaurants, like the Lobster Pot and Guy Harvey's identified directly on the map. Unfortunately, it's probably not possible to point out all the restaurants on the 7 Mile Beach map, but here's what you can do. Again, in the main web site, click on Dining. Off to the left, click on Restaurant Directory. There you will see all of our recommended restaurants and for each, it tells which map they are on and which grid they would be located in. That way, you can see what would be close to Treasure Island (Map 3, D12). Same with shopping.....click on shopping and you'll be able to tell where the different shopping malls are, although they're probably identified on the maps themselves.

Joe has been upgrading the website a lot lately......I don't even think a lot of us are aware of all the new things that are available there. What I love is that he's got the menus of most, if not all, of our recommended restaurants available under Restaurant Menus (also in the Dining section).
