JimRita,

I had a little luck with Googling free Wi-fi Grand Cayman, and found that the Hyatt came up, but I don't know if it's free or charged.

Here is an OLD link with some discussion about Wi-fi: http://www.caymanactivityguide.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3743&highlight=wifi

Sorry for my lack of a "click here" button...I've been away for a while, and my moderating skills are rusty!

I'm sure there are multiple paid and free hotspots on the island. We usually use the hotel service at the Marriott, though there was a fee for this when we were there last. The best bet is to check with the concierge or front desk at your hotel. Many places offer a public computer that can be used in the lobby. We usually bring our laptop for business purposes, though we avoid it like the plague since it's vacation!

I hope this has helped a little bit. I'll keep my eye out for any more recent info for you.

Jen

If you get over to the other side of the island, Kaibo has free wifi

I believe I read that Comfort Suites has free Wifi. It's a VERY short walk over there. You could sit outside at Stinger's bar, have a drink/snack/meal and surf....

Yes - the Marriott does charge, and it can be very pricey. We've experienced that. They do have a free public computer in the lobby, though.
