We are taking my Mother and Father with us to Grand Cayman this year for their 50th wedding anniversary along with Sister her husband and 2 kids. We have been going for several years and have some things planned already. Turtle Farm, Pappagallo's, Stingray City with Capt. Dexter and a half day of fishing. Looking for other idea's and suggestions....This could be dangerous! palm martini

hi Dymon

The Botanic Garden is lovely--I always enjoy it when we go there.

Pedro St James, the Botanic Gardens, blowholes and then Lighthouse restaurant - make a day of it!

Throw in a dinner at The Reef Grill (get the Sea Bass!) and maybe a resort course for any non-scuba divers in the group and you've got a well-rounded vacation.

To celebrate your parents' golden wedding anniversary, perhaps you may want to consider a special dinner.... private dining on the beach at the Cayman Beach Suites.

My wife and I did this for our 19th wedding anniversary in July 2006. It was fantastic. Although not inexpensive, it was definitely worth it!

Take a look at the Joe's pictures and review:

For more ideas, take a look at our must do list:

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for all of the input. 2 of us will be diving with Neptune's (always a great time with them!) Just emailed the Hyatt about the beach dinner, didn't know that was available, but that looks like it could be a very special evening. Forgot to mention already a day planned for Rum Point, but never thought of the botanical gardens or the blow holes, so we will be looking at them.

Dymon

Lighthouse has a special table that is by itself over the water---I don't know the number of people that can sit at the table or what the deal is, but you might want to check it out.

Shelly :-)
