Hi tlowry!

Welcome to a fun and informative forum just oozing with friendly folks!

since you did join us I am assuming that you have already explored the different topics a bit, have any of you been to beautiful GC before? what do you currently have planned? let us know and maybe we can add some ideas from our experiences

everyone may have different ideas about how to spend time on vacation, I like to spend as much time exploring and experiencing new adventures, that said my trips to Gc require the following:

a trip to stingray city

a day at rum point

snorkeling

scuba diving

frolicking in the beautiful clear warm

water at seven mile beach

starting and ending each day with a

nice walk along seven mile beach

with my wife

eating ribs at Coconut Joe's

those are my "core" must dos, and every

trip we try to add something we haven't

done before, next trip we plan on going

to the new Botswan Beach/Park ( I may

not have spelled that right)

so give an idea of what you already have planned

and then watch this forum light up like a fireworks

display of friendly people sharing their thoughts and

helpful advise!

Hi tlowry!

a few other ideas:

kayak trip with Cayman Kayaks

Botanic Garden

What a fun girls trip--I'm sure you'll have great time--as long as you like the sun, sand and water. I love just sitting on the beach and watching the water.

Shelly :-)

tlowry,

Here are a few of my suggestions....

Stingray City

A day at Rum Point

Check out BFM

Sample as many rum punch and mudslide recipes as you can

Since you are all gals- Buy jewels in George Town

Eat conch fritters, washed down with a local brew

Watch the sunset from the Reef Grill

Watch the sunset on the beach with a bottle of wine and a pizza

Email all your friends to rub in the fact that you're there and they're not

Start planning your return trip before you even leave the island

thank you all for the suggestions on planning my trip...snorkeling is a must and great food/entertainment...I am a single mother of two boys with a rewarding job so this is a most needed vacation for me. I do not get my own time very often!! Making new friends is always a plus too martini

That reminds me of something I was going to ask......where is a really good place to get a great thin crispy crust pizza.....we don't like the thick crusts.....much too doughy for us.
