I just left Grand Cayman yesterday, and don't recall what is happening for Mardi Gras, but I know I saw ads for something at Calico Jacks along 7 Mile Beach.

I know that Little Cayman has a really unique Mardi Gras parade, but don't know of anything so special on Grand Cayman. I'm sure that some of the bars will have some specials or something. jester

By the way, I think Mardi Gras would be on Tuesday, the 5th, not the 6th, which is Ash Wednesday. It's possible there will be some sort of celebrations somewhere on the weekend before or that Tuesday.

Have fun!

2 February

Mardi Gras, at Kaibo.

Cayman Kai

With huts, benches, hammocks and the New Orleans atmosphere at the Kaibo bar and grill. With beach volleyball and a annual Mardi Gras festival you will find yourself entertained and amused with lots to do and see.
