The reason that you haven't had any luck finding nude beaches in the Cayman Islands is because there aren't any. This would be a very disrespectful thing to do there......in fact, there are signs everywhere showing a turtle and asking people to "keep your shells on". You need to respect their customs and their culture when you are there...

I'm not saying you can't find some secluded spot somewhere and do your thing, if there is absolutely no one around, but there is nothing sanctioned and promoted as such. I would save that for another island on your cruise where it might be perfectly acceptable. Sorry.

Couldn't have said it better.

Try something different in Cayman, like Stingray City. It is a great experience and you will get sun doing it (with your suit on)!

I can?t say anything nice.

So, I will not say anything at all!

Thanks to my Mom who taught me respect for others. :o

I will say that I hope when we are there & looking for secluded spots to enjoy (away from crowds, nothing more) I don?t have to see someone ?flopping their goods around?. Rolling Eyes

If that is the whole point of the vacation, there are destinations that would better ?suit? (or un-suit) your needs. Wink

The Cayman Islands are more of a family friendly island. A majority of the people who travel to Cayman go for the world class diving and snorkeling. There are many other islands you can visit that will fulfill your needs. While in Cayman, find something else to do and respect the people of the Cayman Islands.

It would still be against the law for one to sunbathe nude even if the beach was secluded. Perhaps you could try to find some fun with your clothes on. Millions of people do, try it, you may like it.

Regardless of your feelings for the laws of this beautiful island, you should respect the laws and wishes of it's people.

Hello all you fine people! Cheers

We come on the ship in two weeks. We like the topless beach close to the dock. So this is OK? Please where it is to help me. Thank you so much all the fine people. Cheers

There are NO topless beaches in the Cayman Islands. Public nudity is illegal.

It is not public you silly girl. It is on the beach. So maybe I take my chances anyways.

I understand that public nudity is not accepted in the Caymans, but I wonder if there are any isolated beaches on Grand Cayman where one could go "au naturel" without the risk of offending anyone? We will be staying at Morritt's and will have a rental car, so can reach any location.
Thanks in advance for helpful comments. Smile

No--they are a very conservative country--Someone in a thong bikini was asked to cover up at a beach restaurant.

God bless them!.......and that's one of the many reasons I allow 30 year married hubby to go WITH me to Grand Cayman.....wouldn't want him to have to see all THOSE sights!
