I will be in GC in April 09 and am looking to get at least 3 days of diving in. I am advanced with 150+ dives and my wife is newly certified. I am looking for shallower dives (<60) so my wife can get more comfortable in her gear before a week on a live-aboard in June. Are there any good shops/dives on the east end that we could hook up with or would we need to go into G-town?

Hi cjmcdonald1 and

Please click below for a listing of all of our recommended dive operators.

We do not have a recommended operator on East End but I believe you will find Neptune's or Off the Wall ideal to your needs and circumstances.

Have a wonderful vacation!

cjmcdonald1,

I love the East End, in fact we did our first ocean dives there. It can be a bit rougher due to the prevailing weather patterns, but we worked through that.

If you do end up in the George Town / SMB area, I agree with Joe about Neptune's Divers. Casey and Keith have always been great to dive with, and they preach reef conservation.

DS
