Hi everyone! What a terrific site this is! So much to see, and an enormous help in planning our vacation! clapping

I picked the Treasure Island condos, after a really good price from your hotel search. Can't decide who do dive with though, they all look good to me and my husband, kind of like picking your favorite flavor at the ice cream store. spin We have not been diving in over a year, so probably the one with the least people so we can have plenty of help. Neptues or Off the Wall???? Should I book the dives ahead of time for February? Never sure exactly what days to dive, hopefully at least 4-5, but the weather is always a big factor for us.

Got everything else in the must do list, at least a dozen things and growing. Everything about this site is incredible, but these forums with all the features are the best. I love the reviews and seeing the comradely among the old timers. I’m just a Cayman neophyte but quickly becoming and expert thanks to all of you and this amazing website!

Hi Burgamy, welcome!!

Many of us highly recommend Neptune's Diver's.... Keith and Casey and the crew will take very good care of you ....

There are multiple posts about Neptune's so if you use the search button right below the Royal Palms web cam (top left) you will find a lot of information and quite a few pictures of many of us ....

Thank you capt. Jack! I found some of the Neptunes pictures. Are they more for advanced divers? I'm not just asking because we need a little extra looking after, but also I don't want to hold anyone back from doing the more advanced diving, you know what I mean? Where can I see your pictres? There are so many...... spin

I'm a newer diver and had personal attention from either Keith or Casey on every dive I went on ..... Keith even took the time to give me some pointers that made my dives 100% more enjoyable ..... and Casey knows I have ear issues and am somewhat of an air hog and she is always attentive and checks on me constantly .... which is exactly what I want!! (Casey even made a special trip on a non-scheduled dive day last March so a few of us could go to Bonnie's Arch, now that's service, and we all partied together on the beach afterward)!!!!

I'm very comfortable with Neptune's , and I'm sure you will be more than pleased with their service and attentiveness .....

Here is a link to our 2007 trip report .....

I would also like to chime in here and add my opinion of Neptune's. While I'm sure there are many fine dive companys on Grand Cayman I've always entrusted my dives to Neptune's and I've never been disappointed.

Thank you capt. Jack! and squidkiss, for all the great pictures and information. My husband has exactly the same problem with using up his air, and I have the same problem with my ears! Is that funny or what? spin

I am very grateful for your help in making a tough decision easy.

My last question is should I reserve the dives ahead of time or wait until we get there? I don't want to commit to certain days if they end up being bad weather, on the other hand, I don't want to miss out diving with Neptunes. What should I do?

You can reserve now at http://www.neptunesdivers.com/ (mention that you heard of them here at the CAG, say Captain Jack sent you)........ If you need to change anything Casey responds daily to emails ..... if there is a weather related change, they will let you know and help you with your plans .... as I mentioned, Casey changed her Sunday plans and took out a boat just for our group because we wanted to see Bonnie's Arch ... that's is above and beyond excellent service!!

Have Fun!!!

Once again capt. Jack, thank you for taking all the time to help. clapping

It's not easy going for the first time with so much to choose from, the diving part being especially important to us. You've been terrific, and I'm going to go ahead and reserve a few days with Neptunes.

You can also say that divnpaul sent you (and tell 'em I said Hello!...) Keith and Casey are simply terrific people to dive and be with. Casey even recognizes my voice on the phone when I call. (OK, so my Lawn Guyland accent gives me away...) Go with them and I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed.

(Hey jpep and GratefulDiver... where are you guys!?! Get on the bandwagon!)

I don't know where jpep and GD are, but I'll sure jump on with my live vote for Neptune's in addition to Captain Jack's reference to my trip report! I imagine they'll pipe up shortly, though.

Come to think of it, we haven't heard from CaymanGuy lately. I hope he's not grounded from posting by CaymanTwins Jump .

Paul,

You know you don't have to twist my regulator... spin

Burgamy,

I dived with Keith & Casey from Neptune's in 10/05, 7/06 and 3/07. They run a great operation and provide personalized service, with 8 divers maximum. They will provide free pick up/drop off at your hotel/condo in Georgetown/SMB. Now that they have 2 boats, depending on the conditions, you can dive North, West or South. They generally have one boat moored off Public Beach, and the other docked at the North Sound marina.

Not only are Keith & Casey great divers and consumate professionals, but they are genuinely good people. ThumbsUp

Just drop Casey an email and she'll get back to you quickly. As CaptainJack advised, don't forget to ask for your CAG discount. Smile

Divinpaul, CaptainJack, Grateful Diver & I dove with them in 3/07 and had a blast. I heartily recommend Neptune's as much as they do. Make sure to check out the Diving and Trip Report topics for all the glowing reviews and pictures.

Sure wish I was waiting for that white van coming up West Bay Road right now!

Please give Keith & Casey all my best wishes from John in NY! Smile

Have a great trip and safe diving! clapping

jpep

burgamy -
Without a doubt - Keith and Casey's Neptune's Divers is my favorite operation I've ever dove with in Grand Cayman. Having the good fortune of traveling to Grand Cayman regulary for the past 8 years I've dived with many dive operator's but after discovering Neptunes I have dived with them exclusively. Keith and Casey have a way of ensuring your dive experience will be the best it can be while at the same time letting all diver's on the boat, no matter what their experience level is, proceed at their own speed. I have seen them challenge the most seasoned of divers while also making new divers feel like old pros!

On a seperate note, if you really want to heighten your experience with Neptune's bring a pouch of Dunkin Donuts coffee for Casey. You wouldn't guess it but she was practically a neighbor of divnpaul and Jpep before settling in Cayman and she really misses her Dunkn' coffee!!

Here's a shot of Divnpaul, Jpep, Captain Jack and myself that Casey took on a dive in 2007. I think Jpep took the next one with Casey in it (she's the one not exhaling half a tank of air!):

gd Diving

P.S. Jpep - "twist my regulator..." too funny.

P.S.S. Divnpaul - I always thought Lawn Guyland Sound was how you folk talked - until someone pounted it out on a map.

P.S.S.S. Captain Jack - I like the new Avatar - is that the shark we saw while diving near Trinity Caves?

P.S.S.S.S divesergeant - swing buy Grosse Pointe in that Cessna of yours and let's go somewhere warm and dive!!!!
