It has been many moons/months.... heck years since my wife and I have dived. So we have no dive log books.

Will most operations accept just my PADI card? Also can you please suggest a getting back into the sport dive site (low current)s and opperator that will put up with re-rookies?

Gracias - - - Pablo

My son has been diving for years and has never kept a dive log. He probably should, but he doesn't--what can I tell you?

I'm sure your padi card will be fine--but I'm not a diver--one of the divers will answer, I'm sure.

Shelly :-)

When you fill out the paperwork with the divemaster that you will be diving with, they usually just ask how many dives you have completed. They don't ask to see the dive book. edited later to add.........of course, they always ask to see your C-card (in your case, your PADI card.) Didn't mean to imply that they only ask how many dives you've done.

HOWEVER, if it has been awhile since your last dives, I really recommend that you do a refresher dive with one of our recommended dive operators. Tell them about your exact situation and that you haven't been diving for awhile and that you need to have someone check you out on the basics.....it's better to be safe than sorry!

Have fun!

Char

Yep, all we've ever used for regular old diving is our PADI (Put Another Dollar In Jump BouncingLaugh ) C-Card.

Definitely sign up for a refresher and a bouyancy workshop. They'll get you comfortable in the water again and make the rest of the trip much more enjoyable.
