Hi everyone!

I am so happy found your site Smile

This is our first trip to Grand Cayman and so excited about the trip after reviewing your site. I am planning to stay at 7MB in May 08 for 11 days and would like to do about 10 dives there. Definitely I would go for Neptunes diving package, but should I try another diving operation beside Neptunes?

Any suggestions? or any advantage to take another diving operation?

I will be arriving in GCM on May 6th for 10 days. Looking forward to doing some diving. I dove Devil's Grotto last month on a cruise and had to book 10 days to go back for more. Staying at Harbour View near 7MB.

I will just miss you there. How was Devil's Grotto? It must been a good place for you to book to go back there right way. I read that Eden Rock is an awesome dive site. Which diving operation are you planning to take?

Devil's Grotto was fabulous. I used the dive shop right there at Eden Rock.

I understood you were arriving there on May 8th, I guess you meant May 2008. For these dives no boat is needed. You just swim out from the shop on the waterfront. I left a review of the cruise I was on at

Unfortunately there is not a lot of diving information there since I only made one dive, but Eden Rock and Devil's Grotto are just beyond the launch at the right of the dock in the picture at the link.

I primarily plan to do shore diving and to visit the easily accessible sites where I can likely find a dive buddy. Don't know where and will likely go to several.

sorry...had to remove your link. Our TOS doesn't allow outside links - scubachar

Unless you are diving West, North and East, I can't see any real reason to dive different operators during one trip. The main advantage to using the same op is that you will receive a multi dive discount. This is especially true when diving with Keith and Casey at Neptune's. If you are planning to do 10 or so dives, you could save a substantial amount of money. Diving with the same op also lets you get familiar with their boat and method of operation. Plus Keith and Casey let you keep your gear with them, so it is set up before you even board their boat. And finally, doing multiple dives with Neptune's will let you forge a friendship with some truly wonderful people.

Where's that white van?....

Hi Divnpaul,

Thank you very much for your suggestion. You are right on ThumbsUp I would love that kind of dive boat service.

I will stay with Neptunes.

What about white van?
